Coaching Sessions

Getting started is very straightforward -- just reach out to me via the contact info below for a complimentary thirty minute session.  It will be the easiest, most productive thirty minutes of your day!

 

Typically we meet weekly on Zoom for about an hour.  This is scheduled time that is spent focusing entirely on you: your challenges, your opportunities, your vision, your business.  We go as deep as you are comfortable into your leadership perspective and how you operate.  Much of the agenda is driven by you although it is typical for themes and lines of thinking to emerge which we explore over weeks or months.

 

It is vital to me that you receive continuous value from our sessions. There is never an obligation to continue and I work on a pay-as-you go, hourly basis consistent in my belief that coaches are accountable for outcomes and improvement as they serve the people they work with.

Business Values

Values inform every minute of your leadership and go directly to your ability to profitably operate your company.  Move from sensing what your values are to being able to clearly articulate them. For better or worse, your business reflects your values with the precision of a mirror whether you can clearly state them or not.

Mindset for Growth

Balancing the desire to grow against the risks and costs. Learning what exactly your vision is for your company in terms of size and scope.  Determine the drivers of scale and the potential stallers or stoppers that would impede achieving scale -- including the mental blocks in your own perspective that make you reluctant to scale.

Setting Goals

How to approach goal setting, both long and short term.  How to measure progress.  How to communicate your goals for the business so your people achieve them.   

Preserving Your Mental Capital

Approaching your day in a way that creates consistency, resiliency, and relentless progress without weighing you down with unnecessary fear, anxiety, or indecision.  Here we make sure you own the business and the business does not own you. 

Delegation, & Staff Development

Financial Performance

Building muscle in the organization so that you are comfortable with tightly defined areas of delegation, that those areas expand over time, and that good decisions and aligned operational tasks are occurring even in your absence.

Developing a mental model around the financial performance of the business at the transaction or unit level and at the company level.  Develop a plan of action for moving the business to perform as expected.

Approaching Your Workday With Intention

Decision Making

Work on priorities and adaptability so you can resist the pressure in the business that wants to control your schedule.  Developing an attitude that makes sure it is your time and your agenda that sets the schedule and who you engage with. 

Refine your ability to make decisions, even in areas where you are less expert or less sure.  Develop a decision-making model informed by your personality and point of view. Develop a plan to learn from and improve on decisions made by you and the people in your organization.
